The Winfield, an original favorite reborn. With salvaged barn siding from good ole' Pennsylvania this simple design has a whole new look. I may or may not have taken the wood off of someones barn without permission. Just kidding. Maybe.
I was inspired to build a lamp with the beauty of an exposed hanging filament bulb paired with the simplicity of a desk lamp: all you do is plug it in and place it on any flat surface in your home.
Made of one piece of gorgeously weathered barn siding and natural jute rope she stands about 11" high, 3.5" wide, and 9" from the back two feet to the front. The main body lovingly cradles a 30 watt Marconi filament bulb (included) seated in a brass lamp socket with a built in rotary switch. The lamp plugs in to a standard outlet with the attached ~8 foot lamp cord.
When lit this lamp glows a beautiful amber orange, which when paired with the weathered tone of the wood makes for a really nice glow that will complement any room in your house.
Every one of these lamps is carefully handmade by me and so no two will be the same. I only have so much of this great weathered wood to work with so there will only be a limited number of these made.
