Terms & Conditions

PRICES

All prices are quoted in USD and are subject to change without notice. Please inquire for more information on trade pricing and quantity discounts.

TAXES

All sales, use, excise, and other taxes applicable to the sale of the products shall be paid by the purchaser.  If exemption is claimed, the purchaser must submit the appropriate exemption certification prior to payment.

LEADTIME

Each fixture is made to order and our lead times run approximately 10-12 weeks from receipt of payment. Custom orders may require additional leadtime. Rush order requests are granted on an individual basis and may be subject to an additional fee.

PAYMENT TERMS

For orders under $7,500, we require 100% payment in order to begin production.

For orders over $7,500, we require a 50% deposit to begin production. The balance payment will be due two weeks prior to the ship date. Balance payments received after that point may cause delays in shipment.

Payment is accepted via ACH, wire transfer, or credit card. Orders over $7,500 will incur a 3% credit card processing fee.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Order cancellations must be made prior to commencement of production, which generally occurs within 72 hours of receipt of deposit payment for an order. Cancellations may be subject to a fee based on costs already incurred by Luke Lamp Co. Once we have begun production on an order, cancellation is not possible. Cancellations are not accepted for custom orders.

RETURNS

Each piece is made to order. For this reason, returns and exchanges are not accepted for any reason other than shipping damage and warranty claims. Damage claims must be reported within 72 hours of package arrival. Please inspect your purchases immediately upon receipt.

SHIPPING

All shipments will be made via a carrier of our choice (generally UPS). A signature is required for all shipments. International customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, and taxes incurred during the transit of their ordered items.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

For braided polyester exterior: Gently dust as needed with a clean dry cloth or feather duster.
For finished metal components: Clean gently with a dry microfiber cloth. Do not use abrasive or acidic cleaning products.
For best maintenance of the product, protect it against sunlight and heat, and keep away from moisture, grease and dirt. For any electrical issues, contact a licensed electrician or contact Luke Lamp Co. For longevity, we recommend no more than 10 consecutive hours of use during a 24-hour period.

CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 65 WARNING

In 1986, California voters approved the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, known as Proposition 65, requiring businesses to provide warnings to customers about potential exposure to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Products with any amount of substances covered by Proposition 65 — even at levels that may not be harmful — must carry this warning unless proven to have “no significant risk” of exposure. Since almost all electronic products contain one or more of the chemicals listed under Proposition 65, we have added a warning label to all orders that ship to California. For more information on Prop 65 visit www.P65Warnings.ca.gov

LIMITED WARRANTY

Luke Lamp Co LLC (hereafter referred to as Luke Lamp Co.) warrants, to the original purchaser only, that the product shall be free from defects in material or workmanship. This warranty expires five (5) years from the date of shipment and covers “regular” usage only (no more than 10 consecutive hours of use during a 24-hour period). If the buyer discovers a failure of the product to conform to specifications, or a defect in material or workmanship during this time period, Luke Lamp Co. shall repair or replace the product at no cost to the Customer, or, at Luke Lamp Co.’s discretion, make a price adjustment to such Product. Luke Lamp Co. reserves the right to determine the most appropriate manner to fulfill this warranty, in its sole discretion. Luke Lamp Co. shall not be responsible for any other expenses resulting from a Warranty claim, such as shipping, labor or other costs or expenses to remove, repair or install any defective, repaired or replaced product. This warranty also excludes the drivers (transformers), which are covered by their manufacturers’ own warranties, and Luke Lamp Co. makes no warranty with respect to, or accepts any responsibility related to, those components.

Please be aware that LEDs have some amount of gradual light degradation (output and/or color) over the life of the product. The LEDs used in Luke Lamp Co. fixtures are designed to minimize degradation, but some light degradation and color shift is a normal part of the life span of any LED lighting system. In the event that Luke Lamp Co. replaces a product under this Warranty, we cannot guarantee that the color temperature or light output of the new product will match the previously purchased and/or existing installed product.

These remedies are the purchaser’s only remedies for breach of warranty.  In no event shall Luke Lamp Co. be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages based upon a breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, strict tort, or any other legal theory.  Luke Lamp Co. will also not be held responsible for damages that include but are not limited to: loss of profits or revenue, loss of use of the product, cost of substitute equipment or downtime, and/or any third party claims. This warranty does not cover any damage caused by accident or misuse occurring after such Product is delivered including (a) any product, components, or parts not manufactured by Luke Lamp Co.; (b) defects caused by failure to provide a suitable installation environment for the product; (c) damage caused by use of the product for purposes other than those for which it was designed; (d) damage caused by disasters such as fire, flood, wind, and lightning; (e) damage caused by unauthorized attachments or modifications; (f) damage during shipment; or (g) any other abuse or misuse by the purchaser.

The foregoing warranties are in lieu of all other warranties express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
